45. Wisdom

When you embrace the natural world around you, wisdom is everywhere you look. Behind the trees, embrace the shadows. For there you will learn unconditional acceptance of yourself and the imperfect nature of being human. In the sky and the breeze, and the ever-changing shape of the clouds, you begin to understand that nothing in life remains the same for long. That pain that rained down on you yesterday could be making its farewell tomorrow. The fledgling bird that once shied away from you, now greets you as a friend. His wise lesson to you was this gift of patience. The budding garden that seemed like an impossible dream has taught you that miracles do happen.

As long as you keep showing up, nature will keep rewarding you with wisdom.
