Jera ("Yehr-ah") (or Jara) is strongly linked with the Wheel of the year. As the 12th rune, Jera represents the 12 months of the year. The cycle of seasons implies development, change and natural movement.

The long hard winter from Isa has ended, and Jera takes place to reward you for the seeds you have planted. Jera is an indication of plenty, but with it may come leaner times in the horizon. Thus store your energy and rewards for when you will mostly need them.

Jera is also a rune of justice. Being a symbol of cause-effect action (with hard work you can enjoy the fruition of efforts, planting a seed you will watch it grow), Jera could potent an end result for past actions, whether that’s reward or punishment.
