("Tea-waz") (or Teiwaz) is the rune of the warrior strength named after Tyr the Norse God of war, law and justice who while in a battle fighting to save his people lost his hand to a giant wolf named Fenris. It was said that if a warrior carved the Tiwaz symbol before a battle on his weapon it would become unbeatable.

This rune speaks of winning battles that were caught with bravery and honor but won at a great loss and after a personal sacrifice. This rune symbolizes selfishness, putting others needs above yours and winning battles, accomplishing great achievements and success. The success Tiwaz brings, often comes carries a painful price.
