7 Wild Boar (Fire)

The boar is a wild pig, much larger and more aggressive than its domesticated descendants. In some places the males can grow to be over two hundred pounds, most of it pure muscle. They are fierce and competitive, and in many cultures they are associated with the warrior spirit. They symbolize righteous anger—not fury for fury’s own sake but the kind that motivates you to fight the good fight.

This card may be a sign that it is time for you to channel your anger into positive action. Don’t just get mad; get moving. There are many causes that are worth fighting for, no matter how much we might prefer to stay on the sidelines. You don’t have to throw a punch, but you might need to step forward and stand up for whatever it is you believe in, whether it is for yourself or on the behalf of others.

All of us feel anger from time to time. Is your anger simply frustration with others, annoyance at unpleasant circumstances, or is it something worth putting your energy into? Only you can decide if your anger is righteous or not. Make sure you aren’t putting it out into the world unless it is going to accomplish something worthwhile.
