Meaning

Within the powerful currents of your mind rest many pearls of wisdom. Filled with inflections of light and shadow, you have collected a great repertoire of knowledge, based on everything you have learned. The ups and downs, the trials and tribulations - these have only made you wiser, while enforcing your strength.

Awareness of Beliefs

We may not always, however, be consciously aware of how our beliefs shape us over time. We tend to focus more easily on our outer world, after all. When feelings of self-doubt or inner judgement sneak into our thoughts, we may latch onto these as a way of working them out, like a problem to solve. We can choose to ruminate on these feelings, even though we know they aren't healthy or productive. Or we can look at them with compassion, and say 'not today'.

External Influences

As humans, we will always be faced with external beliefs, opinions, judgements, and negative forces; there is no shortage of low vibrational information in this world. We are all prone to absorbing these, from time to time. Negative thoughts may appear in our subconscious like pushy advertising that demands our attention. We can choose to buy into them, or we can greet them with indifference and show them the door.

Ruminating Thoughts

Over time, what we tend to ruminate on may eventually add up, but this is not one of those messages that says 'only think positive thoughts or else you are doomed'. This is merely a gentle gaze to the thoughts that do not serve us, in knowing that they are temporary and that it's perfectly okay to greet them with compassion, then let them go. When we focus on something over and over again, it tends to wire familiar pathways in our mind. We may find that we often end up taking these same mental routes, if we aren't able to see them for what they are. Take a moment to think about how you are investing your thoughts. Can you perhaps show them a bit more love and support? If you find that you are able to identify which thoughts are welcomed, and which are not, that's a great way to begin building new mental routes towards enforcing your strength.
