Every year in the last days of winter, painted eggs from creators all around the world begin to surface. They are a marvel of creative expression, coming in thousands of colors and styles. Easter eggs on their own represent fertility and rebirth, and when you add to that the beautiful array of painted images you have a wonderful ritual of new life emerging from the depth of your soul. You do not need to be a painter to take advantage of your artistic genius: you can begin right now, working with what is already in your heart. You might feel called to breathe life into your home by seeking out meaningful statues, images and other décor pieces that bring joy to your heart, or perhaps you are a lover of coffee and wish to develop your skill. Now might be the time to invest in tools or ingredients that will help you master your craft. Ultimately, this card is about following your passions no matter what they may be. Self-expression is acting on what brings you joy, not fitting into the mold of what others are doing. This card is almost always related to the pursuit of your dreams but it can mean a fresh love. If you are asking about someone who has come into your life recently, this card is a reminder to be your true self.

This potion will bring you vivid dreams, downloads, creativity and clarity while amplifying your intuition. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add 1 tbs of fresh or dried eyebright, 1 tsp of fresh or dried rosemary, 1 tsp of fresh or dried mugwort, 1 star anise, 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of grapeseed oil or oil of your choice. Boil for 5 minutes, then lower the heat and cover. Simmer for a further 2 minutes then strain.

Mix 7 tablespoons of the mixture with ½ cup of honey or maple syrup. When it is cool enough, lather this mixture into your hands and feet and rub some on your forehead. Sit in a quiet place and calm your mind for at least 10 minutes, then rinse the mixture off once you’re done. Journaling is advised for the day and for the next few days. Allow your stream of thoughts to pour out.
