Reunification with Higher knowledge or the Divine

It's difficult to look at, listen to, or think about a unicorn without wondering how real it truly is. Did they ever exist? Perhaps once, long ago? The mind responds with "possibly..." or "maybe..." or "impossible." This very contemplation explains our relationship with the Divine and embodies our fluctuating faith in the Unicorn. We wonder what the Divine truly represents. We ask ourselves where our intuition originates and whether we can truly trust it. We think about higher powers, and our mind wavers between "yes," "no," and "maybe." Is it masculine or feminine? Does it have a name? Or is it simply a feeling?

The Unicorn card appears in a reading and "awakens" within us curiosity about the Higher Self and the Divine. This is a card of questions, exploration, and observation of the unexpected. The eye of our mind knows that something exists beyond our everyday life, a deeper layer of perceiving existence. The eye of our mind strives to expand our perception as far as possible to grasp something greater. You are the Unicorn, and you have begun your search for answers.

It's no surprise that the subtle essence of the Unicorn is concentrated in the point of the third eye, in that very place from which the Unicorn's horn grows. This chakra is called "Ajna" or the "command center." Ancient yogis believed that this center governs our intellect, intuition, and profound wisdom. Some say that our two eyes see the past and present, while the third eye gazes into the future.
