Getting in touch with one's inner child can be fun. It can make you feel playful and oftentimes nostalgic for how things used to be. There's a fine line between staying in the moment with your childlike wonder and letting your mind drift back to the past. When we forget to stay in the moment, we can totally miss the giant pink whale and a friend floating by in a clam shell with balloons tied to a cup. There is a lesson here that the Fool, who seems only focused on giving the disinterested dog some flowers, is not quite getting, but maybe you will. Maybe you will look up and see what else is on offer in the here and now and spread the energy of playfulness to all around you.
