Ten of Swords
The Ten of Swords signifies an ending that is complete and unavoidable, symbolized by the Ringmaster ready to drop the curtain. It emphasizes that endings proceed in stages and asks you to assess what phase of completion you are in and whether there are loose ends to tie up. There is a recognition that letting go—especially of drama or the spotlight—can be difficult, yet what follows will be better than what is being held onto. Ultimately the card advises acceptance: the act is done and there is no going back.

Ally
The act is over. The curtain is about to drop and the Ringmaster holds the cord in her hands. She is merely waiting for the clean-up crew to make their way off the stage. That's how it is with endings. There are stages to move through until you can say it is finally over. With that in mind, what stage in the completion process are you in? Do you have loose ends to tie up or are you just waiting to drop the curtain on your past once and for all? No matter where you are in this process, just know there is no going back. This is the end, and completion is inevitable. The Ringmaster will not change her mind. This act is done.
Challenger
It's not easy to give up the spotlight, for this is admitting your time on the stage is over and it is time to leave the applause behind and move onto the next phase of the show. Drama is addictive and giving up your drug of choice isn't going to be easy. However, what is waiting for you is going to be much better than what you are trying to hold on to. Just let the Ringmaster do her job and drop that curtain on this act of your life once and for all.
Visual Description
A tall figure in a ruffled red costume stands at left, holding a tasseled rope in one hand and a feathered quill on a tray in the other. An ambulance-like gray wagon with its rear open sits center-right, from which ten glowing yellow sword-shaped candles rise. Three small, toy-like armored figures carry a red stretcher bearing a prone figure toward the vehicle. The scene is set against deep purple striped curtains and lit in crimson and gold tones, giving the image a theatrical, stage-like quality.
