The Ringmaster gives a last blow to the remaining wands on the stage, as the safety inspector kneels next to the box. Some things need to be packed with care, and they need to have protocols and processes in place to guarantee they are completely done. This is one of them. Make sure your fire is completely out before you move onto the next step. Have your ending process in place, and if need be, have someone help you double-check to make sure all is in order. Let's face it, no one wants to be burned by their past mistakes.

Playing with fire can be addictive, and wanting to stay under the power and intensity can make you reluctant to blow out your wands. However, here is the thing about fire; if you do not have control over it, it will consume you. This is why the Ringmaster takes this particular task so seriously. She does not want to be responsible for burning the theatre down, nor does she want anyone around her to get hurt. It may have been exhilarating to have that energy pumping through you, but it is not something you can sustain long-term. Let your fire go out for now, so that you will be ready and able to play with it again once the time is right.
