The Devil really does love a good show. Especially one where the lines between the viewed and the viewer are a little skewed. The Devil may be seated in the middle of the stage, but who is performing for who? She has a captive audience of two, and now she comes to observe all those who have gathered for the spectacle. Isn't it amazing how much power the Devil has just by being who she is and never deviating from her mission or her sense of self? There is a lesson here about power, thought, and self-identity. When you can claim who you are, fully and completely, you will be powerful. Sure, some people may find that intimidating, but overall, most people will be in awe of you, and dare I say it, captivated by you.

Therefore, before you hurry in and make that deal, make sure you know who you are and what lies in the murky depths of your soul, because that is what will be unleashed once the Devil grants your wish.
