Description
Aces represent the raw, pure element of their suit, and so the Ace of Cups is crystal clear water, issuing straight from the source. Water is the feeling heart, the overflowing soul, the fluidity of our essential essence that knows no form or container. Here, the bright water overflows from a coffee cup bearing the water glyph, as if infinitely being replenished from within. The water flows into a hand opened to receive it and trickles into a boundless, glowing pool! This is the source of all love, all dreams, all intuition, an endless well from which we all drink. Above the cup, a bleeding communion wafer hangs in the air, surrounded by seven drops of blood, a reference to the spirituality, compassion, and unconditional love that the Ace of Cups offers freely.
Divinatory Meaning
