When it appears in a reading, it lets us know that what we're building will have staying power, longevity, perhaps even lasting beyond us. Our works don't have to be grand or dynastic in order to leave a legacy, after all. Whether a creative project, career, relationship, or otherwise, this is a thing that will support us as we feed it. If we tend to it with care and loyalty, this house can stand for a long time.
Lineage and Responsibility
In a wider sense, the 10 of Pentacles is about lineage and ancestry, referencing our familial or cultural roots, how we are honoring them, and how we ourselves are being good ancestors to future generations.
