Reversed it indicates an opening of doors, new opportunities, charity and assistance, but also cautions about ongoing extreme hardship or practical vulnerabilities such as locking keys or dealing with severe weather. The card urges forging a new approach when current paths are closed and being open to help and charity. In magickal practice it is used to visualize breaking down barriers and opening pathways to success.
