Symbolism
This is the key arcane of this deck, transmitting the main message and foundation of the entire collection. It incorporates the archetype of the Empress, as the 13th and 3rd arcana are directly connected here. The arch shows us the sanctity of death, as does the halo above her head. Crimson roses, as in Justice, speak to us of love and suffering. A certain portal filled with sunlight closely resembles a reference to a Catholic temple. This references the idea that when coming into the material world, we say that 'the body is a temple.' The arcane also tells us about moments from the High Priestess - the scythe, and the Wheel of Fortune - the cradle. On the cradle is a golden flower with 5 petals, referencing the pentagram or symbol of humanity. The newly arrived does not come here without pain. The clothing of Santísima herself shows us all colors, all the power of the saint. The clock speaks of the time for change that has come. The cradle and the pregnant Death herself directly tell us of the imminent birth of something new, completely unlike the old. The serpent below, a character familiar to us from the 'Strength' card - Quetzalcoatl - represents the divine beginning, the Creator God. Santísima's background here is from the 'Lovers' - the Rose of the World. Here a series of arcana are gathered, as in Waite. Death in this deck is a symbol of life. And its idea is - the world will collapse so that you can be reborn.
Card's Message
This arcane brings transformation and the birth of a new 'I.' The arcane has also repeatedly foretold pregnancy. Changes are now brewing and any relationships will not be the same as before - what kind of changes will be revealed by additional cards. Old relationships will die - and new ones will immediately appear. In career - 'Nurturing a project' or idea, a cardinal change of workplace or field of activity that will become successful. Also, for money, one must wait for it to be able to be 'born.'
