A green butterfly – the monarch butterfly we have spoken of. Here it is simply stylized to match the suit. As we remember, this butterfly literally symbolizes lineage, the changing of generations during the migration process to Mexico. The lower part of the butterfly represents feet – what keeps us grounded on earth. An abandoned village is depicted, where nature already plays a major role. But a chest remains standing, showing that material things are not what will support and lift you up. Everything will be consumed by time. If you look closely, that very chest stands on a skull that is already decaying and being absorbed by the earth.
