Description of the Image

She is enraptured by Victory, Goddess Nike1, or Maeve2. She swiftly descends from the heavens, confident and assured. She has summoned Unicorns from the foamy ocean depths. They serve her willingly, submitting because it is inherent in their pure intention. The ocean's depths are tamed, enchanted by the turns of her chariot. The foamy waves thunder and roar with oceanic strength, but when she directs her Unicorns to the other side of the gleaming path, the waves subside, falling silent before her, becoming a still and shining mirror-like road.

This stillness lies in the understanding of eternal movement's drive in the deep-dwelling inhabitants. Below, the Spirits of the ocean whisper with the sea's ruler, and in the whorls tinted with water-hues, they dance on the surface, greeting her whose willpower and skill are undeniable, capable of overcoming even the wild, natural fury of the seas.

Meaning

Triumph over circumstances, achieving victory, concentrating intention and will, establishing identity, self-respect, maintaining discipline, taking the reins of control and authority, managing with unwavering confidence in motivation. Control must be exercised in an ever-changing environment, which will present challenges – in world landscapes constantly altered by people, emotions, and surrounding circumstances. Like the fine line where the sea meets the sky, there is a constant tension and pressure between air and liquid, and to move towards victory, one must find faith and knowledge to advance on this delicate surface.

Note

1 Nike (Greek: Νίκη) in ancient Greek mythology is the goddess of victory, daughter of the Titan Pallas and Styx. According to Arcadian tradition, the daughter of Pallas (son of Lycaon), she was raised together with Athena. 2 Medb (Old Irish: Medb, Middle Irish: Medhbh, Meadhbh, Irish: Meabh, English: Maeve, commonly pronounced as Maeve in Ireland and English-speaking countries) – a warlike divine queen of Connacht, one of the central figures in Irish mythology.
