5 Sleeping Beauty

As a princess, my life was meant to be only sweet and joyful. Alas, a cruel witch cast a spell upon me. She prophesied that one day I would prick my finger on a spinning wheel's spindle and die. And this is what almost came to pass. Fortunately, a good fairy partially lifted the curse: instead of dying, I would only fall into a deep sleep. From which I emerged some time later thanks to true love's kiss from a beautiful prince.
