Time to deep-dive and discover your own depths.

Ocean is an enormous body of saltwater that covers over 70 per cent of the earth's surface, and beneath what is visible is a whole new world. Ocean provides a home to countless different plants and animals. She is full of incredible reefs teeming with life and biodiversity, colourful fish and coral and bioluminescent creatures. Because of her immense depths, there is so much that we don’t know about her. Humans have not been able to reach many parts of her, leaving areas of undiscovered, unexplored mystery. She keeps many secrets in her deep waters, not revealing them to those who go looking. Therefore, her song is mysterious, unfamiliar to the human ear. There is much about her that is yet to be understood.

Just like the ocean, you have great depths. There is a lot going on under the surface layer that others cannot see. The appearance of Ocean suggests you need to take a deep dive into yourself. What is it you aren’t revealing to others and why? What is it you aren’t revealing to yourself? Ocean encourages you to become more familiar with your shadow side. This card asks you to look at the things you keep hidden, the things you usually prefer not to go into. Dive into the things that you tend to shy away from to learn more about what is going on within. You must own and honour all aspects of yourself. The more you get to know yourself and share that with others, the more authentic the life you lead will become.
