Magic, connection, communication

Remember - you are connected to others.

Mushroom grows from fungal spores in damp, dark conditions where most life would struggle. She is powerful and has a huge influence over us as humans; she may be edible, poisonous or hallucinogenic. Below ground, Mushroom has a rootlike structure known as mycelium, which collects food, water and nutrients. Mycelium also connects with neighbouring mushrooms and the roots of plants and trees. This network can communicate among itself, warning of predators or diseases and sharing information about the climate. Mushroom's song is one of magical connection. Growing in adverse conditions and communicating in a mystical way, she is an unlikely element here on this earth.

Mushroom reminds you that you can grow in unlikely places. Sometimes adverse conditions are needed to instigate your next spurt of evolution. Whether you are going through an argument, a tricky situation, financial difficulty, or relationship trouble, these undesirable times can make you take a deeper look at yourself, which perpetuates your self-growth. You contain a vast amount of potential and your effect on others can be potent, so think carefully about how you want others to feel in your presence - you can choose whether to be the poison or the medicine.
