The Next Journey Beckons

And so, she prepares. There are times when life changes and when life changes us. This crone has been a witch for so many years. At times she has followed a tradition, a following of wise footsteps. At others, she has carved out her own. She has moved from the world into the natural world and back again. She has raised children, seen them grow, let them go, and held their children when they have returned.

And now, not for the first time, she is alone. But this time, a new path stretches out before her. It is a path of light that stretches beyond the place she has felt most safe, most at home. And she marvels at how she can have a new path before her at this late stage of her long life. She puzzles at how Spirit can ask her to take another journey. But the path is there, and she cannot deny its beckoning.

The door between this life and what her life will next become has swung wide open. She prepares and stands for a moment in wonder. She knows she won’t need so very much — for she will be led by moonlight. Will this path lead to her next adventure in this lifetime? Or will it take her beyond this life to the Summerlands and her soul’s next quest? She does not know. But while the moon is still full, she will enter the next mystery.

An invitation to change. Evolution beckons. An adventure for the soul. The path of the soul in its evolution. Courage. Willing to ever explore.
