It has cast everything with a sheen of honest magick, and for the first time . . . she has seen it all for what it really is. Like a switch flipped, she has dropped it all. All the baggage. All the lifetimes. All the tethers. All the broken dreams. Oh, how often she has stayed when she didn't want to! How often she has done so much—for them—and never for herself. She realizes now, as she walks away, just how far of course she has twisted and how much she has changed. With this lifting of the spell, she can see everything in its lucidity.
