33 The Cyborg

I will accept my emotions, not be defined by them.

The Cyborg is preparing for a mediation, plugging into the ship's computer and downloading data on the ancient wars these two alien species have fought. Instead of getting robotic implants, try practising some meditation or mindfulness. When things get overwhelming, it can make a big difference. With practice, you will be better equipped to handle the next challenge life throws at you, whether it's being cut off in space-traffic or helping aliens find peace after centuries of war.

Start a simple meditation practice, even for just a few minutes a day. There are many different apps or guided meditations available to help you get started. Don't deny or suppress your emotions when they come up, but accept them, breathe and realise they don't have mastery over you.
