Two tigers brawl in front of a fiery landscape. No blood is being drawn and like most cats, it is unclear whether this fighting is malicious or mischievous. Both their eyes are blank and directionless, leaving us to wonder if the conflict is really about the other at all. The Five of Wands is a battle of egos. It is a conflict that can start out benign or playful but may quickly escalate.
