20 The Explorer

I will absorb knowledge and learn all I can.

'Atmosphere? Stable. Terrain? Lush alien forest. Wildlife? None currently observed . . .' She pauses her scientific log to listen. While she can't see much through the thick vegetation, she can hear faint sounds coming from nearby. What a fascinating planet. She pushes leaves aside to see what creature could be making the noise. Stopping in her tracks, her mouth hangs agape. She stares into giant intelligent eyes looking back at her.

The Explorer is constantly gathering data and observing the world around her, learning and absorbing knowledge every day. She studies and analyses her data, gleaning new information. All her discoveries are endlessly fascinating to her. The Explorer is about refilling and recharging. We can't always be in a state of giving out energy; sometimes we need to balance it with input. We could learn something new, gather inspiration or even spend time with our favourite people. The Explorer tells us to stop talking and start really listening. Try keeping your mind open and receptive, and developing a thirst for knowledge. The universe is overflowing with interesting phenomena; the more we learn, the stranger and more fascinating it becomes!
