Growing underground, Root often goes unseen, quietly sustaining a plant and absorbing nutrients to provide life. Not only does Root take up all the goodness to feed the plant, it also provides the plant with stability. Root spreads out through the earth to provide an important anchor for the plant. It prevents the plant from falling over in harsh weather and allows the plant to continue growing, knowing the foundation is solid and stable. Root's song is quiet and understated, a low and consistent melody without which there would be no song. Root asks for no thanks or glory for providing the plant with nutrition and stability, its essential lifeline. Root doesn’t mind not being seen and quietly works away underground.

Root reminds you how important it is to have a stable foundation from which to grow. Just like a plant, you have an underground system of support that is not always visible but is key to your welfare. Nourish yourself, whether this be spending quality time with your friends and family, or eating a balanced diet and exercising. This is a time to question how stable you feel in all aspects of your life. In areas you feel secure, see if there is someone or something to thank for that.
