Gentleness, patience, vulnerability, trust

Nothing is ever late, and everything is as it should be. Trust is the salve.

Lambs or young sheep are associated with the more Christian version of Ostara, or Easter, but still beautifully represent the early days of spring. They symbolize innocence, purity and vulnerability, just like the first sprouts of a seed. Lambs are trusting and submissive by nature and will approach your hand with joy and gentleness, waiting patiently for you to share your love with them. When this card eases into your reading it is to encourage you to approach your desires with the same gentle energy.

When planting a seed you must learn to trust that it will sprout when the time is right. Be patient, my darling: your desire is still yours for the taking, but it is taking its sweet time and making sure the conditions are right. You are being asked to trust in the path you have found yourself upon. Divine timing is at work here; however, you may find your journey will move along just a bit faster by openly communicating your desires and needs. Open yourself to help from those around you, allowing yourself to be vulnerable and free in your expression. Recognize the power of allowing yourself to be seen. By sharing your feelings, you create opportunities for others to support your needs.
