The Warrior's energy, merging with the Tempter's emanations, becomes compressed and transforms into hidden forms. The Vampire and Warrior share a thirst for blood, but their methods differ. The Warrior cannot hide their intentions, while the Vampire operates in secret, under cover of night. The Vampire and Light are incompatible. On the card we see the dark time of day, a full moon has risen - the time of dark forces has come.

The card's emanations are oppressive; we feel the fear experienced by the character. The Vampire is dressed in a dark cloak, as if walling themselves off from the world. They feel like an outcast. Inside them grows a conflict between fear of life and fear of death, for the Vampire is a living corpse.

They are not free from their desires to feed on the blood of other people, their life force. All symbols on the card speak of dependency and using others' resources - vampire bats, the spruce tree that drains energy. However, we should not forget that the Vampire lives within everyone. We all feed on each other's energy. Usually people exist in conditions of mutual exchange, when you receive something and give something back. The Vampire manifests in us when we begin to live using others' energy while giving nothing in return.
