Meaning — Overview
The 7 of Pentacles recognizes that we've been working hard, oh so hard, and it brings the good news that our efforts are starting to bear fruit—but the work isn't done yet. Instead, this card meets us at a point where we're able to take stock of our work as the harvest begins, and then decide how—or whether—to continue.
Meaning — Emotional State
When this card appears, we may be feeling tired and run down, maybe even doubting our hard work and investment. In this case, the card says don't. It tells us to value our sweat, our labor, our screwups because we're learning, growing, adapting. If things don't pan out like we'd hoped, we will have still gained something vital here, even if it's only the wisdom of experience. If we're dissatisfied with our results or the work it took us to get here, perhaps we can make some adjustments, do things differently, change our strategy in order to finish the job in a way that's sustainable and rewarding. Maybe we don't have to give up and let our plant go to seed.
Meaning — Imagery
